One of the things I most love about Arlington is that everything seems within walking distance. Arlington has been ranked the most walkable US city, and it’s also very bike friendly. More recently CNNMoney.com ranked Arlington the 2nd best place in the US to be rich and single. Arlington is not just a city of high rise condos and townhouses, but includes vibrant neighborhoods full of single family detached homes. In 2010, Arlington was ranked the number one city for families by Parenting Magazine.
For condominium shoppers, Arlington offers great choices, including Turnberry Towers on North Nash Street (pictured nearby), Liberty Center on North Quincy Street, The Eclipse on South Glebe Road, The Park at Courthouse on Fairfax Drive, and the Wooster on Clarendon Boulevard in Rosslyn. And that is far from an exhaustive list, which tells you that there’s a wide selection of great buildings in Arlington.
If you’re after something closer to the traditional single family home in a close-in setting, Arlington has diverse neighborhoods with a range of home styles and prices. One such neighborhood is Country Club Hills of North Arlington, an area that has caught the eye of the Washingtonian. Country Club Hills is an area that combines older homes with new construction and showcases the investment and revitalization that keeps Arlington’s property values growing.
I’ve devoted a lot of energy to appreciating what the Northern Virginia area offers and can communicate that effectively to both buyers and sellers. More than 10 years ago, I relocated to Northern Virginia from Massachusetts, so I know first hand the challenges of moving to a new area and finding a home. With more than a decade of experience buying and selling land and building homes in the area, I’ve acquired a solid understanding of local property values.
