Baron Cameron Park is a 60 acre public park at 11300 Baron Cameron Avenue in Reston, Virginia. It sits at the intersection of Baron Cameron and Wiehle Avenues and is owned and operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority. Baron Cameron Park is home to 6 soccer fields, a baseball field with outdoor lighting, and separate dog parks for big and small dogs. There’s also an area set aside for community garden plots which are available for rent.
The Reston Association’s Blue trail connects Baron Cameron Park with nearby Brown’s Chapel Park and Lake Newport which is maintained by the Reston Association. Baron Cameron Park and Brown’s Chapel Park are so close together that they’re often seen as one park. Brown’s Chapel Park features the Lake Newport Tennis Courts, a basketball court, 2 ball fields, a batting cage, soccer field, and a playground area.
Roughly midway between Baron Cameron Park and Browns Chapel Park, there’s a tunnel that crosses underneath Baron Cameron Avenue near Village Road that provides access to Lake Anne on the eastern side of Baron Cameron Avenue.
The combination of multiple parks, paths, and tunnels makes Baron Cameron Park a great launching area for recreational activities.
