Autumn Wood, the new Gulick community in Great Falls just off the Georgetown Pike, is really starting to take shape.
Over the summer, workers were busy clearing and shaping the property and carving out roads, a process known as site development. On Friday of last week, roads were paved with asphalt and curbs were in place. Very soon, people will be heading home to Autumn Mist Drive.
Homes will soon start coming out of the ground. This is an exciting time, because progress seems to pick up speed. It’s a lot easier to begin to visualize a finished community with roads in place and structures dotting the landscape.
Gulick communities tend to sell out quickly, so it won’t be long before we go from watching Gulick’s creative vision unfold to welcoming new neighbors to Great Falls.
