Community Description
Valewood Manor is a community of single family homes in Oakton, Virginia. There are entrances to the community on Valewood Drive and Wayland Street off Vale Road; another entrance is off Waples Mill Road near the Penderbrook Golf Course. Originally developed in the late 1960′s, the Valewood Manor community features ramblers, split-foyers, split-levels, and traditional colonials on 1/2 to 1 acre home sites. As with many Northern Virginia communities, there’s been a steady stream of new construction over the years in the Valewood Manor community. Valewood Manor is across from the Hickory Hills neighborhood and very close to the Difficult Run Stream Valley Park and the smaller Wayland Street Park.
