McLean sits west of Arlington County and southeast of Great Falls with a population around 40,000. Because of its proximity to DC, it’s no surprise that many high-ranking government officials and diplomats call McLean home. Major corporations such as Capital One, Cardinal Bank, Freddie Mac, Gannett, Hilton Hotels, Mars, MicroStrategy, Science Applications International Corporation, and Sunrise have headquarters or significant operations in McLean. The US Central Intelligence Agency is also headquartered here.
McLean is well known for its upper-end single family homes, but there’s a lot of housing variety here. Luxury high-rise buildings, such as The Rotunda or the new Park Crest, are within walking distance to the diverse retail offerings of the Tysons Corner shopping corridor, where over 55,000 people come to shop every day. In towns of similar size, it’s not common to find high-rise buildings offering the level of amenities available to McLean residents. Closer to the heart of McLean, there’s an interesting mix of old and new neighborhoods, with everything from brick colonials on tree-lined streets to condominiums or brick townhomes for those seeking less yard work. Simply put, McLean seems to have it all.
Whether you’re looking to buy or sell property in McLean, I’m a good fit to represent you in your next real estate transaction. I’m a Realtor® and a licensed Virginia real estate agent with Samson Properties in Chantilly, VA.
I’ve devoted a lot of energy to appreciating what McLean offers and can communicate that effectively to both buyers and sellers. More than 10 years ago, I relocated to Northern Virginia from Massachusetts, so I know first hand the challenges of moving to a new area and finding a home. With more than a decade of experience buying and selling land and building homes in the area, I’ve acquired a solid understanding of local property values. To keep that information fresh, I regularly compile my own set of Northern Virginia real estate market statistics.
As a licensed Class A builder and McLean real estate agent, I know how to shop for new homes, re-sale homes, and land. That experience lets me catch something that might otherwise be overlooked, and what’s overlooked can be costly.
My construction background also helps me to effectively represent sellers by being able to respond to concerns from prospective buyers. Whether you’d like to offer a McLean home for sale or a McLean house for sale, I’ll work hard and put the full range of my experience to obtain the best selling price and a smooth closing.
Sprinkled throughout these pages, you’ll find more information about me or the value I can bring to your next real estate transaction, but here are a few highlights:
- I don’t use a “canned” approach because every transaction and every property is unique;
- I have more than 10 years of home construction and real estate experience;
- I’m internet savvy and promote my listings across the internet, on unique websites, and with targeted online advertising;
If you’d just like to spend some time viewing properties on-line, I’ve set up a handy property search feature to search the MLS. You can check out real estate listings of McLean houses for sale using a convenient map-based tool.
